Jenna & Kyle | A Classic Southern Wedding | Wedding Photographer

Jenna and Kyle stood on the Bass Lake waterfront deck facing their friends and family that had traveled from all over the country. As Kyle lovingly placed Jenna’s guitar strap over her shoulder being sure to not wrinkle her veil they told the story of how this song was created. Spending the weekend in the car traveling from South Carolina to North Carolina gave them plenty of time to reflect on their relationship. To recall all of the little moments that brought them to here, to becoming husband and wife. Binding their lives just as their hearts have been for years.

Their expression of love for each other and gratitude to everyone that created a beautiful classic southern wedding was this song. A song that no one was prepared for. They sang of the everlasting love they shared over the years and many miles. No matter what life threw their way, one phase remained true for them. I can imagine them saying this over the phone, in letters and finally when they were reunited. “I’ve been waiting for you.”

I believe that Jenna and Kyle have a rare kind of love. A love that they observed in their family homes and churches. They watched what it meant to love your family selflessly and be devoted to your spouse. This isn’t something that just happens it is something what we learn as children. After spending the day with their families it is clear where Jenna and Kyle learned to love. More times than I can count I was in awe at the outpouring of selfless love and joy not only from immediate family but from friends and long distant family too.

This is day was beautiful indeed. It was draped in gorgeous white flowers, shades of pink and soft blue and a stunning suit of Bridal details. Everything was magazine perfection. The most beautiful, the greatest of all these was love. The endless amounts of free love that was showered on every person in attendance, including us. Even Jenna and Kyle in the craze of the day often asked if we needed anything, Such a small act of kindness that spoke so loudly to their character.

Jenna and Kyle, where do I begin, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for sharing an unforgettable celebration with us. Our hearts and lives are forever changed and better for knowing you. We love you both so much, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for you. xoxo
