One of my favorite things about planning a session is getting to know my clients. Hearing their love story. All the little details of how they met and fell in love make my romantic heart so happy! Lauren and Billy have the sweetest story! To say these two lovebirds were destined to be together is an understatement! Doesn’t even come close!
They met for the first time during a summer program at Wheaton College. They knew of each other, but the sparks weren’t flying… yet! It wasn’t until some time later that Lauren and Billy were reunited as Maid of Honor and Best Man at Laurens sister’s wedding! What are the odds? Right?! Lauren said this time “it just felt right” excuse me while I go swoon!! However, Billy was stationed at Ft Bragg, and Lauren was in Kansas. This sweet couple took on the task of a long distance relationship!
During a visit to Ft Bragg in April, Billy took Lauren hiking! Having fallen madly in love with Laurens kind heart and bigger than life smile Billy proposed to her with a stunning solitaire diamond ring that sits on a band of diamonds! It is so perfect!
After hearing this story and sharing it with John, we were both so excited about their engagement session! We couldn’t wait to meet the couple that has a love so big it endured time and distance! Once we met them, we completely understand how they made it work! They bring out the joy in each other. Lauren never stopped smiling. She never stopped praising Billy for how great he looked and what a good sport he was. And he never stopped admiring how lovely she was! They were so stinking adorable together!
